Medicaid Mastery

Information and Registration

A unique, hands-on training program.

Thank you for your interest in Medicaid Mastery, Ron Landsman’s unique three-day program to teach you how to provide state-of-the-art Medicaid plans for your clients.

This class will cover all major aspects of Medicaid planning – the rules governing the single individual, how they vary for the married person, how to use trusts in Medicaid planning and how to deal with the risks of estate recovery.

What makes this course unique is the process: a hands-on approach in which you will solve Medicaid problems for clients in more than two dozen cases of increasing complexity and sophistication. You will learn by doing these cases, from basic spend-down and gift-and-return to Medicaid qualified annuities with tax qualified and non-qualified funds, promissory notes, and pooled special needs trust accounts. You will learn to coordinate MQAs with the community spouse income allowance. You will learn how to balance the tension between Medicaid-favored transfers and clients’ estate plan wishes. Perhaps most important, you will learn to advise clients when not to use Medicaid.

You will walk away with the knowledge and confidence to provide top quality Medicaid advice.
